Sew Drawstring Pants (Feb 1-March 8)

Course Meets February 1- March 8.  No Zoom meeting on February 8

Minimum Class Number:  A minimum of 4 students must register for the class to run.

Perfect for the beginner-intermediate sewer, this class will teach some of the fundamental basics of sewing and following a commercial pattern.  All students will make Simplicity 9202. You will learn how to:

• Read a commercial pattern
• Basic pattern alterations
• Prepare your fabric for layout
• Layout your pattern on fabric
• Tips for cutting and marking
• Sewing seams
• Finishing seams
• Sewing buttonholes
• Sewing in-seam pockets
• Sewing an elastic casing
• Hemming

You will meet with Tammie and other class participants live each week for 1 hour to get your questions answered, see a preview of the next week and learn tips for success.  Each weekly session will be recorded in case you are not able to attend or want to review what was covered. 

Then, you will follow along with Tammie’s weekly prerecorded lessons.  Love to sew first thing in the morning?  Great!  Love to sew in the middle of the night?  Great!  You can follow along at your own pace at a time convenient for you.
