Finishing and Attaching the Hood

Last week, you prepared your hood and applied eyelets if you desired.  Now, you will finish the hood and sew it to your hoodie.  To do so, follow your guide sheet and the instructions and videos below.

1. Turn the hood right side out.  Press.  Baste lower edge together, ½” seam allowance.
2. Find center back of hoodie neckline.
3. With right sides together, match center back with hood seams, squares, notches and edges.  Pin.  Baste.  Stretch the hood slightly to match the neckline while sewing.  Keep needle down whenever stretching.
