Sewing with Knit Fabrics –Â in Grand Rapids (March 26 – May 7))
Learn to sew with knit fabrics by making zippered hoodie McCall’s M8070. In this 6 week course, you will learn basic pattern alterations, how to lay out a pattern and cut knits, sew with knits on your sewing machine, apply a pocket and zipper, sew darts and sleeves, and create cuffs and a hem band. You will learn ways to customize your hoodie so you can let your creativity shine. This course includes 15 hours of instruction and 6 months of access to the online supplement course. Â
Class meets Thursdays 6:00-8:30pm
March 26 – May 7 (No class April 9)
Tuition: $289
Class meets in my home studio. The studio is downstairs in my basement in my pet friendly home (dog and cat).
Upon registration, you will receive the supply list and liability release forms.
