Class Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Tammie Pontsler Creative Industries, classes are designed to provide thoughtful, hands-on sewing instruction in a supportive and professional learning environment. Because class sizes are intentionally kept small to allow for individualized guidance, each registration reserves a limited seat and requires advance planning and preparation.
Class Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please review the following policies carefully before registering.
1. Registration & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise stated. A student’s seat is not reserved until payment has been received.
2. Minimum Enrollment
Some classes require a minimum number of students in order to run. Registration is considered confirmed once the class has met minimum enrollment and is approved to proceed.
If minimum enrollment is not met, the class may be canceled or rescheduled. In that case, students will be offered either:
- a full refund
- or class credit
A class being contingent upon minimum enrollment does not alter the student cancellation policy outlined below.
3. Student Cancellations – Multi-Week In-Person Classes
Because class sizes are intentionally kept small, each registration reserves a limited seat and late cancellations can significantly impact class planning and enrollment. All cancellations must be made in writing.
- 14 or more days before the class start date:
Eligible for a full refund minus a $15 administrative fee, or full class credit - Less than 14 days before the class start date, but before the first class begins:
Eligible for class credit only - After the class has started:
No refunds, credits, or prorated tuition will be issued
Once a class has met minimum enrollment and is confirmed to run, student cancellations remain subject to this policy and do not create any obligation for additional refunds or adjustments.
4. Student Cancellations – Workshops, Special Events & Webinars
Due to limited seating and advance preparation, all cancellations must be made in writing.
- 14 or more days before the event start date:
Eligible for a full refund minus a $15 administrative fee, or full class credit - Less than 14 days before the event start date, but before the event begins:
Eligible for class credit only - After the workshop, special event, or webinar has begun:
No refunds, credits, or prorated tuition will be issued
5. Missed Classes
Tuition is not prorated for missed classes. No refunds, credits, or partial tuition adjustments will be issued for missed class sessions.
Make-up sessions are not offered. If you miss a class, the instructor may provide a brief summary of what was covered and any available materials to help you stay on track. Individual make-up instruction or private catch-up sessions are not included in class tuition. Students who would like additional support may schedule a private lesson at the current private lesson rate, based on availability.
6. Online Courses & Digital Products
Due to the immediate access provided, all sales are final for:

7. Instructor Cancellation or Rescheduling

9. No-Show Policy
Students who do not attend and do not provide advance notice will be considered a no-show and are not eligible for a refund, credit, or any other adjustment.
10. Illness or Emergency
If you experience illness or an unexpected emergency, please reach out as soon as possible. Exceptions may be considered at the sole discretion of the instructor.
11. Agreement to Terms
By registering for a class, workshop, or course, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Class Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
